1. How are the shoes painted and what paint is used?
Ans: The shoes are painted using fine needles to inject ink into the shoe like a tattoo as well as using fine brushes to paint
certain parts. Acrylic Paint is used so that the shoe will be waterproof. An additional mask is also painted after the entire process.
2. Will the colours fade off?
Ans: In most cases, the colours do not fade off as acrylic paint is waterproof.
The paint may fade off if u have done something to it or you rub the surface hard against something rough.
3. Can I wash the shoes?
Ans: Yes. You can. I have watched the shoes I have painted for myself a couple of times and the colour is still so perfect.
Use a toothbrush to gently scrub it.
4. What kind of shoes can a design be painted on?
Ans: I paint shoes of canvas material, other than that, I will have to see what kind of material it is made of.
Basically, Simplyshoes paints almost everything, from sneakers to adidas and nike shoes, heels and even designing Swarovski ctystals
on slippers!
5. How much are the designs?
Ans: The price of every shoe and design varies. Pumps cost between $18-$35 while sneakers start from $40 and above.
customization of any other shoe can cost anything from $25. Remember, you're paying for art, not the shoe. =D
6. How long does it take for a pair of shoes to be completed?
Ans: The process of drawing and painting on the shoe is fast. It takes between 3 hours to 2 days. Shoes can be received anytime from
1 to 2 weeks.
7. How do you get your shoes?
Ans: Your shoes will be posted via normal mail unless you want it registered. The cost of postage is between $1.50-$5.00. Other forms of
arrangement can be made on a case-by-case basis.
